“Olympus has fallen” – PRUMAS failed the upper west creative art industry

PRUMAS 2019

Organizers of Radio progress upper west music awards (PRUMAS) have failed to deliver their core mandate of serving, recognizing and awarding hardworking talents in the entertainment / creative art industry for this year’s edition.

The annual event which witnessed its 5th edition last year, 2018 and anticipated to be bigger and more competitive this year has since not announced the launch of its 2019 edition to allow artist filed for the various portfolio. With the numerous complains associated with PRUMAS every year regarding branding, awarding packages and structure, the upper west entertainment industry looked  forward to a more well-organized event this year hoping the critic and concerns raised in the past will reflect positively.

PRUMAS is the only music awarding scheme in the upper west region for the past few years. Its business and failing to organize this year will slow the industry and probably kill some talents that have worked so hard to earn some form of recognition through awards.

For any reason 2019 edition of PRUMAS isn’t taking place, organizers owe the people of upper west a good explanation for failing to deliver.

watch out for more updates on this development as we seek answers from organizers
